Superbowl ads

So i know it’s a couple weeks after the superbowl, but I wanted to write about the ads for my blog. The ads are definitely my favorite part of the superbowl. This year’s ads were ok, but I’ve seen better in the past. My favorite was one of the first ones that aired, which was the pepsi commercial. I thought it was hysterical how all the people were bobbing up and down due to lack of caffeine, and then when they got the diet pepsi max, they all sprung to life and Haddaway’s “What is Love” started to play. This commercial was so clever because many people have seen Night at the Roxbury, so it reached a large audience. However, it seemed to target the age group of 20 somethings, because this movie was released in our time. The best part of it was when Chris Kattan came out at the end and screamed “enough already!,” because he was the main star of that movie. I think Pepsi really pulled it together by targeting the right group, having originality, and by really selling their product.
